Welcome to the All Vinyl Experience – A backwater in cyberspace dedicated to vinyl, flexi-discs, recorded noise and bits and bats associated with records.
These pages feature the odd, off-beam, left-field gems that’d probably end up as landfill. Years of crate-digging, feeding the vinyl junkie habit have meant that the odd-ditties have piled up and need to be shared. The site is updated as often as time allows and as I find new material. A sample of the many sound-cards, cover-mounts and flexi-discs in the collection. Maligned as an audio disaster and under appreciated as a snapshot on modern life, the collection lead to an interview, “The Wonderful Weightless World Of The Flexi-disc” on BBC Radio 4. These pages also include the hilarious Porn flexis and the really dull Reader’s Digest flexis!
Again, through crate-digging and years of vinyl collecting, there are records that really should be consigned to the bin. Generally it’s an art thing; dull, odd, bizarre, sexy or just downright wrong.
