The glam years start off this section, and glam was what’s needed with miners strikes leading to shortage of electricity, TV ending early, bin men on strike, Vietnam ongoing. What we needed was burgeoning consumerism? Musically the 70s were ace with Glam, pub-rock followed by the ground-shaking Punk and then the Mod revival. Musically it was a gem of a decade, possibly eclipsing the 60s for creativity?
